Un dernier balayage de l’événement de célébration d’Elle Women in Hollywood 2024.
The 2024 ELLE Women in Hollywood event continued to bring bold, eclectic, and conversation-starting looks. From dramatic comebacks to unexpected twinsies on the red carpet, here’s a closer look at the notable style moments from the evening.
Red Carpet Return
Carey Mulligan returned to the red carpet for the first time since awards season in a look that combined her signature understated style with a twist. The embellished jumpsuit from The Row’s Resort 2025 collection offered a fresh alternative to the classic black dress we’re used to seeing from the British actress. Sure, some might point out her ever-present no-makeup makeup, but that’s quintessential Carey.
Two for two in embellished perfection
Danielle Deadwyler continued her spectacular evening in a Prada black jeweled gown following ‘The Piano Lesson’ premiere. It was effortlessly elegant and a worthy follow-up to her earlier Schiaparelli moment.
Red with a twist
After blending into the Governors Awards backdrop, Julianne Moore demanded attention in a red The Row Resort 2025 draped dress—a surprising choice, given that the original dress was showcased in black.
Floral fantasy, sequins edition
Karla Sofía Gascón served one of her best looks in a Dolce & Gabbana sequined floral-print dress. It was flattering, eye-catching, and styled to perfection with black patent pumps.
Feathered drama and metallic moments
In her return to the red carpet, KiKi Layne brought high-impact glamour in Georges Chakra Fall 2023 Couture. The black metallic gown with sheer panels and feather details was dramatic yet refined.
Schiaparelli déjà vu
OMG. I was just saying how much I love Schiaparelli’s designs for their one-of-a-kind uniqueness—and then Monica Barbaro and Zoe Saldana showed up in the same halterneck corset dress from the Spring 2025. Albeit in different fabrics. Monica’s brown acid wash denim didn’t hold a candle to Zoe’s classic denim version. Zoe’s styling sold the look.

Red alert, peep-toe perfection
Ryan Destiny joined the growing trend of bold red looks we are seeing this week on the red carpet wearing a draped Tibi Spring 2025 dress. The matching peep-toes added a playful touch to her chic, monochromatic outfit.
Minimalist or Miss?
While part of my brain is convinced this strapless dress from The Row’s Resort 2025 collection works on Saoirse Ronan, the other part keeps telling me it looks like box-filling material.
Chanel redemption?
Tilda Swinton was back in Chanel, this time wearing a purple tweed ensemble from the Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection. Compared to her less-than-stellar San Sebastián outing (will never get over it), this fitted jacket and panelled skirt were a return to form.
