Le calendrier de l’AGDQ 2024 comprend des speedruns incroyables

La meilleure semaine de l’année de speedrunning, Awesome Games Done Quick, démarre aujourd’hui et il a un programme incroyable avec les meilleurs speedruns.

Later today Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) kicks off, with a massive list of incredible speedruns to keep you entertained and raise some money for charity. The full GDQ schedule for the next week of action is one of the best yet, with a great mix of new releases and weird classics.

AGDQ 2024 starts today, January 14, at noon ET, with a speedrun of Tunic, a hit indie game released in 2022 that won the BAFTA Games Award for Debut Game. From there the GDQ stream will stay live until around midnight on January 21, ending with a Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster speedrun that is expected to take around two and a half hours.

The full GDQ schedule for Awesome Games Done Quick 2024 can be seen here and features some speedruns that sound incredible. I’ll be keeping an eye on the Elden Ring vs Sekiro run, which takes place on Saturday, January 20 at 2:15 pm ET, as well as the Starfield speedrun on Tuesday, January 16 at 4:15 pm ET, which is due to clock in at just 45 minutes for the entire game, although that could be closer to 30 minutes during the actual run.

Other highlights on the AGDQ schedule that are worth checking out include the Hades run on the 16th at 9:55 pm ET that features 3 weapons, 2 players, 1 controller in a modded speedrun by arcalena and trash_lapras and earlier that same day at 2:00 pm ET Peanut Butter the dog will be speedrunning the 1985 NES platformer Gyromite! Yes, that’s an actual dog doing a speedrun for charity.

As ever, through the night there will be some weird and wonderful speedruns of games you may not have heard of. While they may not be as must-see as some of the bigger, more recent titles, it’s certainly worth tuning in as many of these runs are the ones that break the games beyond recognition to beat them in minutes.

If you are looking for those newer games then the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Lies of P are all being run, with other recent games like Resident Evil 4 (2023), Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the hilariously bad Skull Island: Rise of Kong all making the list as well.

You’ll be able to watch the stream live on Twitch all week, with the organisation once again raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Previous AGDQ events have raised millions for charity, so the hope will be to match that this year.
